About UECU

The UECU Difference

Unlike traditional financial institutions with corporate stockholders, credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives where the member is also the owner. Members elect a Board of Directors who serve on a volunteer basis and establish policies. Chartered in 1934, every decision UECU makes is with the best interests of the membership in mind. Our 34,000 members apparently agree! According to a survey conducted of 145 Credit Unions nationwide by Raddon Financial Group, an independent research firm, UECU ranked #1 in the area of member satisfaction.

How does UECU put this credit union difference into practice? UECU is committed to the ultimate in account access convenience. We have a nationwide membership without branches on every corner because we don’t expect you to come to us. We deliver account access to you wherever you are! UECU members have 24/7 access to all of their accounts using any internet-ready PC or touch tone telephone…at home, at work, or even on vacation anywhere in the world. Money other financial institutions spend on branches UECU chooses instead to return to our members in the form of competitive rates for loans and savings and a full line of convenience services.

We’ve just scratched the surface of all the ways you can experience the credit union difference with UECU. This website provides a wealth of information on all the others! So don’t bother even walking across the street to a local bank branch. You have complete access to UECU right here. Take a look.

We always welcome your feedback. Thank you for being a UECU member.
